External stresses, challenges and influences on our lives and the lives of those around us can sometimes leave us with difficult feelings, thoughts, memories, concerns or behaviours. 

 

We may have attempted to deal with these problems ourselves in ways that no longer work, are unhealthy for us or no longer serve us.  Indeed we may even just find ourselves at a loss to know what we feel, think, want or need do about them.

I have the belief that we all hold deep inside the answers we are seeking to our questions and have an inherent capacity for self soothing, resilience, insight and that we can all learn and grow from our experiences in some way.

However sometimes we all just need a little extra help, support, time and the space to work things out and heal. It is also not always possible or desirable to discuss some matters with those who we would usually turn to or confide in.

 

The therapeutic space and counselling alliance can provide a magical, transformative and empowering experience. One that can help equip you with the tools and insight with which to explore and find your own resolves to these life challenges.

Counselling Style

There are many counsellors and counselling styles available and it is important that you look around and take time to consider which are the best fit for you.

 

For my part I am a qualified, (BACP) registered, counsellor who works integratively by drawing on the skills, knowledge and techniques of psychodynamic counselling, life coaching, hypnotherapy and metaphor. 

 

We will work together to find ways in which  encourage and enable you to feel free to talk, express and be yourself fully. 

 

By providing the time,space and professional support to help you explore, make sense of and work through what has occurred in life.
